Villa Belge is a six bedroom vacation home that occupies a serene plot of land at the south-east coast of the island, about half a kilometre away from Agrari, a quiet, organised beach with pristine waters. Situated on a rocky slope at a fair distance from the neighbouring houses, the villa enjoys both privacy and sweeping sea vistas.
The terrace is fully equipped for outdoor living: there is a gorgeous shaded lounge and dining area fitted with a traditional wood oven, a beautiful garden with local herbs and flowers and a swimming pool that overlooks the Aegean.
The house itself pays tribute to the Cycladic design, featuring curved, white-washed blocks bundled tightly together. Rather than creating vast spaces, the architect kept the living areas to a human scale to convey an intimate feeling. The interior is cosy and stylish, with classic furnishings accentuated by subtle modern touches. In the bedrooms, the palette is natural and the ornamentation kept to a minimum. Instead, attention is caught by tall windows that offer eye-soothing views of the landscape. To maximize privacy, the villa includes two independent guest rooms with pool access.
Outdoors, summer unfolds at its best: using ample indigenous stone for the exterior surfaces, contrasted by Cyclades white walls, the villa offers a magnificent open-air setting equipped with a wonderful swimming pool and a separate outdoor Jacuzzi area, an inviting BBQ area and of course a picturesque lounge and dining area. Villa Argente is an ideal choice for a family or group of friends looking to enjoy a serene summer experience, yet in one of the word’s most cosmopolitan islands!
